Three light setup with a few props.

Would like to take this time to introduce myself and my photography blog.
I've been around for a while and have been into photography for over 30 years and have vast knowledge in both film and digital cameras. I currently shoot the Nikon D810 and D500 and a wide range of lens, to include: 14mm through 800mm. My passion is nature photography as I love being in the great outdoors. I'm also into sports photography and shoot for a sports wire service and have press passes to many of the local and professional level sporting events in eastern North Carolina. I also shoot portraits, to included pets, weddings, travel and urban landscapes.
I will be updating this blog once a week and hope you follow in my journey's.
v/r,
Mike

What a wonderful day! Traveled to Raleigh yesterday with 7 fellow photography friends and took a photo walk in hopes to find something to capture my attention. Weather was a bit on the warm side, but hydration was the key to our success. We started out near the State Capital building and luck was on our side; the old State Capital was open for viewing and we took the opportunity to explore with our cameras.
The outside was impressive with memorials to the Armed Forces and those that gave the ultimate sacrifice.
The inside was impressive and the dome captured the attention of all of us and the cameras shutters started to fire.
We finished the day off with a great meal at Woody's at the City Market.
